D5186 Standards

Performance Mixtures and Calibration Sets for ASTM D5186. The analysis of Motor Diesel and Aviation Fuels by Supercritical Fluid Chromatography (ASTM D5186) requires the use of a performance mixture. We supply two such mixtures meeting high and low specifications. The mixtures are supplied in 2ml flame sealed ampoules under a Nitrogen atmosphere. For the Calibration Sets, an Inter-Laboratory study was conducted using Diesel Fuel. A total of 11 Refinery and Independent Laboratories analyzed the Standards for both Total Aromatics and Poly-Nuclear Aromatics and the results were statistically analyzed.
